Photography: an art-form notorious for capturing passion and trapping it in time. There’s nothing better than taking the right shot, at the right time and in the right conditions. We’re excited to announce the newest member of the Re:Fuel team: Elliot Tratt. He joins us as our Official Photographer – and luckily for us all, he’s particularly good at it!
‘Hi everyone,
I’m Elliot. Like most people reading this, I was born with petrol in my blood. I come from a family consisting entirely of petrolheads, so it’s little wonder I would also follow suit.
I started taking photos at 13yrs old in the concert scene locally, slowly developing the range of bands and artists that I’d worked with. I became the IETs Photographer of the Year in 2017 and from that point decided I wanted to combine my love of photography with my passion for all things automotive. So, Elliot Tratt Photography was born. I was limited to what I could take photos of as usually the only time I saw interesting cars was at my Alfa Romeo Owners Club meetings (by the way, I love Alfa!).
When I found Re:Fuel, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to take my camera along. The variety of cars all in one place, all at one time, was pretty phenomenal. After getting to know Dan, George and Josh at the Re:Fuel events I went to; they approached me to become Re:Fuel’s Official Photographer. Of course I was honoured, and quickly accepted!
Whilst I hope there are still a huge collective of talented photographers that will continue to visit Re:Fuel and create their own fantastic work, my role will be to generate consistent photographic content for Re:Fuel’s website and social media – to do our bit to show the world what the Southwest automotive community has to offer! I can’t wait to take photos of everyone’s cars, develop my own portfolio and create exquisite content to help promote the incredible Re:Fuel brand.’
